Acceptance of Terms
MK Best Roofing engages in roofing services such as roofing inspection, repair, maintenance, installation, replacement at scheduled times, or on-call emergent roofing services. Your acceptance enables MK Best Roofing to provide such services that you acknowledge reading, understanding, and agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client” or “Customer”) and MK Best Roofing (the “Company”). If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please do not proceed with our services.
Services Provided
Roof maintenance, emergency roofing for situations requiring immediate responsiveness, roof installation for new construction and comprehensive roof replacements are some of the services offered by us. Other services include detailed inspections of existing roofs to assess workouts and repairs to ensure most economical prolongation of roof life. In addition, proactive ongoing maintenance programs tailored towards prevention of costly problems are also offered.
All services are rendered by trained personnel abiding by the industry norms, standards and quality materials. Required local and state licenses, insurances, and safety abide by New York State and surrounding areas building codes are held by us. Standard construction workplace safety is also adhered to by our team.

While striving to meet all customer requirements of reasonably priced services, we also focus on maintaining industry standards and quality to guarantee lasting results.
Payment Terms and Conditions
Payment terms are detailed in the service agreement or outlined in the contract provided to the customer. As a general rule, we do require a deposit prior to any work being done, with full payment due upon completion. In some cases, a payment schedule tied to specific project milestones may be established. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted, provided they adhere to our current payment processing policies.
Warranties and Guarantees
MK Best Roofing extends warranties for both the roofing services provided and the materials incorporated into the projects. Workmanship warranties pertain to the installation and repairs performed during a defined timeframe, while material warranties stem from the manufacturers of the utilized products.
Proper upkeep of the roofing system is necessary for warranty coverage, damage from natural disasters, aging, prohibited use, or alterations by third parties void coverage. Regular upkeep as advised by our team is critical to preserving warranty coverage and the investment made on your roofing system.
Limitations of Liability
MK Best Roofing holds full business, general liability, and worker’s compensation insurance policies. However, MK Best Roofing’s liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to the Company for the services. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from, but not limited to, roof work such as: minor inconvenience, loss of access to the area, or damage to property not personally owned or used by the client.
The customer agrees to remove and/or protect all personal items from the areas that are to be worked on. We urge clients to remove valuables and delicate items from designated work zones prior to the arrival of our personnel. Any damage that is found and/or repaired will be recorded and reported together with any pre-existing condition that is found.
Right to Cease Work
Failure by the customers’ to pay MK Best Roofing in a timely fashion entails a breach of agreement and grants MK Best Roofing the right to suspend all activities, services, warranties, and shipments until full payment is received. The work MK Best Roofing is obliged to do shall be performed in accordance with a schedule which factors in the period in which work was suspended, along with a fee equal to MK Best Roofing’s justified expenses incurred due to shut-down, delays, and increased operational costs post suspension.
Permits and Other Compliance Issues
MK Best Roofing shall obtain necessary work permits for any roofing works as required by local building regulations. In projects where permits are mandatory, their pricing will be included in the project quote, unless otherwise stated. All works undertaken will be performed according to relevant legislation, compliance documents issued by the builder, guidelines given by the manufacturer, and accepted industry practices.
The customer is responsible for providing precise details about their property and any relevant homeowner association covenants which may impact the roofing work. The customer may incur additional expenses if there are delays outside the contractor’s control due to non-disclosed compliance requirement permits.
Weather Conditions and Scheduling
Scheduling for roofing work may be impacted by rain, snow, high winds, or other unsafe weather conditions. MK Best Roofing reserves the right to postpone or reschedule roofing work when weather and site conditions are subpar. Weather-related schedule changes will be communicated as expediently as possible, and all efforts will be made to reduce customer inconveniences.
Permanent emergency measures for weather-related damages will be conducted only when safe to do so. Weather may limit the scope of work to temporary measures until conditions improve. The safety of our workers and protection of your property is prioritized in all weather-related decisions.
Responsibilities of Customers
Access to the work area and movement of vehicles and other obstacles should be unimpeded. It is the responsibility of the property owner to communicate with household members and neighbors about the scheduled work to enhance safety measures and limit interruptions. During the team’s presence on the property, all pets should be restrained away from the work areas.
Customers must notify us as to what concerns or questions arise during the work being done. A final walkthrough with the project supervisor is critical before signing any completion documentation. Clients need to resolve all issues, if any, at that time when the team is still available to ensure full satisfaction.
Modification and Termination
These Terms and Conditions may be modified only through written agreements signed by both parties. Any scope of work or project specification amendments will be altered in writing, which will affect the project timeline and price. Failure to adhere to the set payment terms or if the working environment is deemed unsafe, we hold the right to suspend servicing.
These changes can be made by either party with notice in writing, but depending on where the project is in progress, materials ordered or delivered, noted cancellation of fees will apply. Before these changes are made, we will try our best to negotiate with clients regarding disputes that arise.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions abide by the New York State laws, where any conflict resulting from these terms or any services delivered shall be adjudicated in either binding arbitration or court located in New York. Customers will incur additional expenses covering reasonable attorney and court fees reimbursable to MK Best Roofing should they require defending these terms or enforcing payment for services provided.
